foomatic-gui software package provides GNOME interface for configuring the Foomatic printer filter system, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install foomatic-gui
foomatic-gui is installed in your system.
Make ensure the foomatic-gui package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep foomatic-gui *
You will get with foomatic-gui package name, version, architecture and description in a table
